Application Form / Information

Any student who attends a private school, or is enrolled in a Vermont State Department of Education "Home Schooling" program, who is a resident within the SVSU district, is eligible to participate on an interscholastic team at Mt. Anthony Union High School or Middle School.

The student must be in grades 7-12 and be a legal resident of Bennington, North Bennington, Shaftsbury, Pownal or Woodford to be eligible.

A Private School/Home School Application Form must be completed and turned in at the start of the season. Included must be proof of health insurance and proof of residency (electric bill, tax bill, etc).

If the student is enrolled in a private school (Sacred Heart, Grace Christian, Hiland Hall, etc), the sport they choose to try out for at Mt. Anthony MUST NOT be offered as a sport at their school. To be eligible the student must also follow all guidelines and policies set by the MAU School Board, including academic eligibility, training rules and Vermont Principals Association (VPA) rules and regulations.
